Content of European regulation n ° 910/2014 of 23 July 2014 “eIDAS”:
The eIDAS regulation does not recommend a particular level of electronic signature depending on the nature of the transactions. The text cites the principle of technological neutrality:
"The legal effect and admissibility of an electronic document as evidence in court may not be refused on the sole ground that this document is in electronic form or that it does not meet the requirements for a qualified electronic signature".
Electronic signatures are legally recognized in the European Union, regardless of the technology used, including blockchain technology.
